SUMMARY OF POSITION: Nursing Services

Hours/Location: On-call 24/7, hours vary, extended weekday hours and weekends ma be require: Daily Job Site: Community based with Prince Georges County, MD. As an essential employee, your attendance may be required at work and /or you may have to perform essential job duties even in cases of inclement weather.
FLSA Status:  Exempt,  starting salary 80K (38.46 hourly)
Classification: Full-Time
Field Work & Travel: Position requires approximately 40% field work and 25% travel
Qualification/Requirements: 

1.  Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Education: Earn a nursing diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 1 year Minimum experience Medical Surgical in Hospital
  • Licensure: Pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
  • Other Requirements: Background check, physical exam, CPR certification, and sometimes additional state-specific requirements like continuing education credits.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience with adults with intellectual disabilities ond/ or clinical experience
  • A Valid local US Driver's License, auto insurance, use of a personal vehicle for business related
  • Posses comprehensive knowledge of DDA and COMAR regulations
  • Must ensure individuals exercise their right and their rights are not restricted without due process
  • Ensure worksites and residential homes are safe, comfortable, and free from hazards

  • Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment and have the ability to recognize safety issues.
  • Record keeping and updates nursing care plans for designated individuals
  • Confers with doctors, labs and other medical professional to ensure quality care for EPIC SMVI individuals
  • Completes 45-day nursing assessments and other nursing documentation per DDA regulations
  • Provides training to staff as it relates to individual health needs and diagnosis
  • Provides individualized specific training to staff per DDA regulations
  • Educates staff on Medication Amminstration procedures for MTTP



SHIFT HOURS/DAYS:
This position has Full-time opportunities and is classified as Essential/On-Call
with weekday/weekend work hours.
