Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Enhancement Specialist (QE) to join our team. The QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring our services/products meet consistent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, process improvement, and regulatory compliance

Position Details:

  • Location: Home-based (Local to MD, DC, VA) – Telework Required

  • Compensation: Starting at $40K (based on experience)

  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday (Some weekends and extended hours may be required)

  • Field Work & Travel: 25% fieldwork, 25% travel

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Must have a high school diploma or GED.  Some college preferred. Preferred knowledge base of Maryland DDA and COMAR.
•    Must have intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Position requires 50% travel (ineligible for mileage reimbursement to/from EPIC sites)

    The position of QE Specialist is to review, evaluate, and investigate cases to determine accuracy and outcomes. The incumbent is a detail-oriented professional that is responsible for the implementation of policies & procedures, inspect and audit to ensure compliance with internal and external protocols/regulations.    

    •    Ability to closely collaborate across all EPIC programs and departments.
    •    Ability to work together as a team where there is effective communication.
    •    Must possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    •    Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in compliance with internal and external agencies rules and regulation.
    •    Excellent time management skills to manage one's own time and the time of others.
    •    Must be responsible and take accountability for own actions.

    Key Responsiblities:

    Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Identify, document, and track defects or areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality.

  • Maintain documentation and records to meet internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in training staff on quality standards and procedures.

  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices
