The position of CDS- The position of DSP in Community Development Service (CDS) provides direct support services to adult person(s) supported with intellectual challenges. The DSP supports the person(s) with community-based services that provide person supported with development and maintenance of skills related to community membership through engagement in community-based activities with people without disabilities. The DSP provides the person(s) with opportunities to develop skills and increase independence related to community integration, promote positive growth and developing general skills and social supports necessary to gain, retain, or advance competitive integrated employment opportunities, and personal care assistance, based on assessed need. |
