We are currently seeking to add to our team a creative and results-oriented Residential Program Manager to provide administrative, coordination, audit and supervision of Residential sites in the Northern Region of Maryland.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DDA, CMS finale rule and COMAR regulations a must.
  • Three years of leadership experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
  • Strong staff management experience required, with the ability and interest to work closely with staff members to set and achieve individual and team goals.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written; strong ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to create buy-in and a sense of teamwork.
  • Apply a high work standard; establish criteria to achieve an elevated level of service delivery.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test, be at least 21 years of age, have a local, valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Assures compliance with COMAR, CMS Finale rule, State and Federal regulations, while supporting residential staff in the northern region, active participation in continuous quality assurance and improvement.
  • Oversight and coordination of all aspects of residential homes in the northern region including case management, IP planning, health care, clinical and behavioral supports to ensure quality services.
  • Collaborates with team members to monitor and audit timesheets, trainings in assigned homes while abiding by all regulations/policies pertaining to EPIC.
  • Monitor and review all medical documentation while providing oversight to ensure medical goals are achieved.
  • Constantly maintain quality care by performing weekly house assessments, monitoring well-being of persons supported, provide guidance and management to Direct Support Professionals through supervision, consult and training.
  • Coordinate staffing in assigned homes, review ongoing staffing needs, and schedule shifts that are vacant or impacted by staff call outs, with appropriate, and trained personnel.
  • Ensure assigned program is in compliance with licensing and accreditations, to include, but not limited to staffing ratios, safety plans, staff development, quality assurance, program development, and completion of program goals/outcomes.
  • Collaboration among all internal and external team members as it relates to quality supports to people receiving service.
  • Performs other duties as designated by the Residential and/or Assistant Director.
