EPIC is a 30+ year organization whose daily supports are driven by its mission to empower adults with developmental and intellectual challenges to maximize their independence. Our team of over 200 support members assist people with exploring opportunities for employment, housing, and simply having meaning to their days.

We are currently seeking to add to our team and need a creative and results-oriented Residential Director to oversee the day-to-day services of 60 adults through a 140-person support team. If you are a compassionate advocate and believe that people should be treated fairly, live quality lives, and you meet the minimum qualifications listed below, you must apply. Minimum Qualifications:

  • A desire to assist people in achieving their dreams and goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or seven (7) years of supervisory experience in the Human Service field.
  • Apply a high work standard; establish criteria to achieve an elevated level of service delivery.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test, be at least 21 years of age, have a local, valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to be effective in a mobile environment.
  • Have a working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong multi-tasking, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the operation of the Residential Department.
  • Manages interpersonal conflicts utilizing standard conflict resolution techniques.
  • Maintain and follow a current safety plan, including training staff, ensuring minimum safety ratios are maintained, and abiding by all regulations/policies pertaining to EPIC.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Works with the CEO to ensure the department’s direction is strategically in-line with that of the company.
  • Collaboration among all internal and external team members as it relates to quality supports to people receiving service.
