SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are looking for a male candidate to help an adult living in the Ft. Washington area learn more about his community. If you love movies, museums, theaters, riding bikes, playing with animals and swimming, then EPIC has the perfect opportunity for you! The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, caring, assertive and creative.

As a team member, you will do more than provide services; you will build strong, long-lasting relationships while helping EPIC create and support positive change for the people we support.

• Progressive attitude and flexibility

• Ability to follow a schedule and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to recognize and handle health and safety concerns

• A local, valid US driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years or any major violations in the last 5 years

• Willingness to use your personal vehicle on a daily basis (required for this position; reimbursement is provided)

• Ability to pass skills testing and state and agency mandated training

SHIFT HOURS/DAYS:

This position is part-time, non-exempt, and is classified as essential/on-call. It is located in the Ft. Washington area with weekday evening work hours from 3:00pm-7:00pm, Monday through Friday and from 12noon – 4:00pm on Saturday.
